Once again, I was scrolling through Twitter earlier when I stumbled across another small-time SoundCloud Artist, “David Becher.” After listening to a song that had attracted a large sum of retweets (see below), I was eager to hear more. So I followed up with David for a quick interview to learn some more about him and his future endeavors.
Where Are You From?
“I’m from a town in Indiana called Pendleton. Really small, really annoying.”
Who Is Your Biggest Influence?
“My biggest influence on my music is actually not a musician, but an artist called Banksy. I like how he pops up randomly and makes his mark, and then leaves just as fast. Pretty cool concept.”
How Would You Describe Your Style and Sound?
“My style is forever changing and evolving. Every song I ever make , I pull from 1000 songs I’ve heard before. Music is the ultimate sandbox of non stop creativity and options.”
What Are Your Plans For The Future?
“I plan on pumping out music as frequent as possible for the rest of this year. I got some personal problems going on in my life, and it’s good to release raw emotion in a song. So I’ll keep it up for the rest of the year.”
David has attracted thousands to his unique music and style. Listen below to see what the hype is all about!
